💉 Blood Slave 💉

Blood wasn’t hard for her to come by if she so wanted it, but her friends had insisted that it was simply the thing to do now to have a blood slave.  Not many other vampires could afford it and if it wouldn’t even dent her father’s account, why shouldn’t she have one?  It would be a lot easier than having to seduce a human into offering up a vein.  So she settled in as the auction began, watching as bodies were offered up and sold.  Kalmera had been given a place of honor near center stage in recognition of her status and she had an excellent view of the proceedings, but none of them had yet caught her eye and she was beginning to think the night a waste of her time.

Most girls might have been dissuaded from coming tonight if they were single, but she had spent enough celebrations without a partner than she had hardly even noticed.  “Not a problem at all, mon belle.”  Though the kiss was long over, her hand still remained on the other woman’s waist to hold her close.  It had been a natural reaction to being kissed randomly and yet she wasn’t ready to let go.
