It's a shame that they didn't have the vampire car be able to fly, as well, since it kind of has some of the abilities that a vampire has. And we know that it's not a fledgling because it drank Malcolm's blood (it's first victim of the Brunner family since being revived) and then all of the other guys it attacked, afterward. So, that means it's a full vampire, and full vampires are able to fly in the series whereas fledglings can't.

Also, I bet secretly Ethan and Benny (and Rory too) probably thought a car with vampire abilities is actually pretty cool. Especially, the rapid healing part because then you'd save tons of money on repairs if it suddenly needed it or ever got in a wreck because it could just automatically fix itself on its own, then.
