man, hearing people on a podcast who clearly aren't Into Vampires talk about vampires makes me want to jump thru my phone and start yellin
and now im thinkin bout vampires and how rarely media about them hits the spot

but also for serious, the coin speech from soul reaver 2 is in my top ten monologues of all time. so fuckin’ good. ALSO BLOOD OMEN 2, THE UNLOVED BASTARD CHILD OF THE FRANCHISE! <3 I gotta replay all of these.
I never got around to playing EITHER of the blood omen titles. I think I could probably get through the first one, but the second one always struck me as something you'd need... actual... skill to play.
PRETTY SURE I did end up reading through synopses or watching playthroughs of both because holy moly these melodramatic hoofed vampires were my jam at one point in time
but oh man one of my favorite things forever is the voiceover session from sr2 where michael bell is just wearin' his little old man glasses with a beaded chain and talking about how he got hopelessly lost while trying to play the first soul reaver game. SO PRECIOUS
