#vampire edits

There are some edits for this AU in terms of how things with the Vampires work.

I figured I would quick make a post just to get some of those things out in the open, that way they don't have to be fully explained randomly in the future:

#1: Sire and Fledgling Bonds

Fledglings can feel the strong emotions from their Sires. It does not work in reverse.

Sires can sense whenever their Fledglings are nearby even when they are invisible.

Vampires have the possibility to gain memories or emotions from the people they turn. What they gain is a vampire case by case basis. (This is much rarer with just drinking blood from someone and not turning)

When a vampire is old enough, they gain the ability to command and plant ideas into their Fledgling's heads (some form of enthrallment)

Vampires can sense when someone is turned, but those connected to the specific Sire's tree sense it faster.

#2: Vampire Edits

Stage One Vampires can handle silver without much issue, but overexposure can lead to burns or rashes on their skin.

Vampires have a possibility to grow territorial over a human that offers them blood. (consciously or subconsciously)

Vampires can only turn humans through lethal bites.

A human who is turned will temporarily die before waking up as a fresh vampire a few minutes later.

Vampires have pointed ears, but they aren't as noticeable until later stages.

When a Vampire is injured, they can consume blood to instantly heal their wounds. The more fresh the blood is, the quicker they heal. (This does not work with injuries from silver overexposure or holy water)

Vampires are light sensitive and struggle to see with sunlight beaming down on them as they get stronger. They are also more sensitive to light from any light source, including fire.
