If it's okay to ask, how would a country of vampires treat the messenger?

Ok so *this* is going to be a little different than the kingdom series, idk. I'm imagining this in more like.. Victorian/Industrial Era times rather than Medieval Times. If that makes sense?

Either way.. nobody wants your job.

Human society likes to believe they have no superior beings. Yet they all know the truth no one dare utters. How a portion of their laws and projects are decided by the blood drinking elite.

Your job, despite its simplicity, has carved out graves. The vampires desire a level of.. respect. What they call common courtesy, if you will.

Those who don't follow it.. don't last the trip home.

The finest families are the ones you give news and letters to. They have their own system of distributing the information amongst themselves to their lower courts.

They like you.

Whether it's for better or worse..

Apperently your blood isn't so disgustingly vulgar smelling that it turns their nose away, but it's also not potent enough to send them into a craze. Like a scentless middle.

You are also just the most polite little thing!

They often gather around and listen to what you bring. Even ask for your opinion at times.

The elite always send you off with a little extra coin than needed and a safe promise home. They have their ways of ensuring it.

I'm sorry this ask isn't SpongeBob related, but have you ever seen or heard of the anime Gegege no Kitaro? If not, there's a character in it named Vampire Elite who I'd think would be right up your alley and I just thought I'd share!

Anyways you are right! I do like his design (not just for obvious reasons but it does help) he's just a little vampire <3 look at him with his nice suit and bowtie and murderous tendencies!

This is closest to my wish of Peter Lorre playing a vampire. Yeah his parodies are pretty affiliated to Renfield for some reason but I want one to be a true glamorous vampire! This scratches the brain itch so it's close enough 👍 I'll definitely check him out.

Vampire Elite Mafalk sketch(human and real form) (Solikar) Well, I recently got invited to a new DnD session by another super close friend of mine. So this would be my second one. Currently doing a biweekly Stradh one with my vampire hunter Sten so I felt like going a full 180 and go with this Vampire character here. He is basically like a sathurday morning cartoon villain and the voice Ill be doing for him is basically like a discount Master Vampire from Skyrim XD The worst part of this is that the session will have a discord audience, sooo im very nervous for that XD (I already have performance anxiety with the party alone)

Finally finished Hakaba Kitaro!!! What a lovely anime it was, so delightfully creepy!!!
