Since Medama-Oyaji is a soul transferred to an eyeball, Kitaro might feel touch starved at times, not because his father do not care, but because he can't truly do anything more due to his current state.

At times like this, Kitaro misses his adoptive father the most.

A full shot of the new Kitaro visual has been released. Here, Kitaro’s not-yet-an-eyeball father talks to a man outside his prison bars, no doubt the infamous Mizuki.

The movie is set to air in the fall of 2023!

That’s quite a ways off, but gives me hope I’ll be able to go see it in Japan by then!!!

Finally finished Hakaba Kitaro!!! What a lovely anime it was, so delightfully creepy!!!

I’ll definitely draw something a bit more complete when I have the energy to do so, but for now, here’s a bunch of doodles I made!
