on the Doylist level, the concept of a hotel named after Dracula’s Daughter (1936) is a great little nod to vampire media history, much like the Twilight poster in the intro. on the Watsonian level, though, the concept of Louis de Pointe du Lac owning a hotel that he named after one of the first and most influential lesbian vampires in film, who is cursed into her undeath by the unavoidable sin of being her father’s daughter, is patently insane.
