🦇 anon back again JJ's bat for is the Kitti's hog-nosed bat simply because they're very tiny.

It's so small-

Hotch is terrified of losing JJ every single time she's in bat form. How is he going to explain to Strauss that JJ got stepped on by a local LEO because they weren't watching where they were going? And then there was that one time when she got trapped in a filing cabinet. Emily made fun of her for that for a solid week. Derek still brings it up (but he's careful to make sure she doesn't hear, cause she's wicked when she's angry).
