I’ve had an idea for an au floating around that I wanted to share

So we’re all familiar with Vampire!MCR content, but I’ve yet to see anything where one or the more of the guys are vampires and things stay, well, mostly the same, otherwise, so that’s where this idea came from.

In this AU, Gerard and Mikey have both been vampires since birth- their family lives somewhere with a higher concentration of supernatural creatures than usual, although there are still humans around. So while they’re mostly able to blend into regular human society, they still have some strange habits and mannerisms that cause some shenanigans early on.

Ray is a werewolf of sorts (more like a wolf shapeshifter), and he and Gerard become friends and start the band with Mikey after 9/11, like usual- and then there’s Frank.

Now, unlike the rest of the band, Frank's a human, with no idea that any of his bandmates' aren’t. There was quite a bit of debate as to whether or not they should let Frank join the band- sure, the three of them had kept their secrets from human classmates, and their parents had done the same with their co-workers- but recording and performing music requires spending a lot of time together. Eventually, though, Frank became a member, and My Chemical Romance was born.
