Light Yagami approached the guillotine. So no head? He thought grimly. He walked slowly, eyes trained on his own cuffed hands and the chain between them, which was being yanked unceremoniously by his executioner. When Light had heard that Miss Piggy had requested that she be the one to execute him, he had been startled.
"The Muppet? Why?!" He has asked L.
"You know why," Said L, coldly. He had not met Light's eye then.
This was not the case now. Aside from the pig, two others were allowed to view his execution. The judge that had ruled his fate, and L himself, both as the detective that had found him guilty, and as Light's own wife. And L was staring holes through the back of Light's head- he could feel it. Still, he kept his face turned away from his wife, the father of his children. Guilt clawed at his insides. It wasn't supposed to end like this.
Light had given up using the death note four months before his execution. His shinigami had taunted Light as he hid it away, vowing never to touch it again.
Four months had he resisted.
Four beautiful months, with his wife and his son.
All crumbling away just as his feeble resolve had. He had begun killing again, a fever overtaking him. And for what?
Light knelt before the guillotine.
"Any last words, Light Yagami?" Came the solemn voice of Judge Batman (it was decided that his case was to be judged by Batman, due to his lack of bias and all-around "cool factor").
"I'm sorry," came Light's croaking voice.
"Sorry doesn't cut it!" Screamed Miss Piggy.
"I never meant to hurt you."
"It doesn't matter what you meant," said Batman.
"Please," Light begged, "Please, one more chance, I'll be different!"
"We're getting a divorce," He whispered.
The blade of the guillotine didn't even register to Light. How could it? You can hardly miss your head when your heart is caving in.
Hell was not what Light expected, but he supposed it was what he deserved.
Instead of fire and brimstone, he saw nothing but debauchery as far as the eye could see.
Infinite pale, clown figures, bent over equally infinite green little muppets, thrusting and chuckling darkly.
The Joker closest to him held his muppet lover ever-tighter, getting out the Jrap On (Joker Strap On,
