Viktor Adachi is an interesting teacher, to say the least. As a frequent traveler and the headmaster’s relative, he is able to sustain a teaching job at Ikemen despite being gone for most of the year. Even then, his teaching methods are unorthodox. His usual position is filled in by teaching assistant, Hideki Mitsue, often enough that his homeroom class considers Mitsue their actual teacher rather than their substitute. Although he is often abroad, when he is back to teach, his students often vouch for his teaching methods to be effective and enjoyable. However, is it acceptable to leave this as is?

There’s no doubt that Viktor is a good teacher. His approval rating among the students is high and the grades his students get when he’s there to teach is undeniable. His methods are adaptable to the situation and his students’ current needs while making them enjoyable.

According to Viktor, his travels are often for improving as a teacher. Many of the things he learned and experienced during them have been used in his classes. Not only would they expand his knowledge of what to teach in class, but help with coming up with the way to make his classes more engaging. Therefore, his lessons would retain better with his students.

However, the fact of the matter is that he’s not around for most of the time. Recently, he asked for his fifth leave of absence this year and is in the process of being approved. Usually, it takes about a week to a couple of months before he returns from them. The school year only lasts for three terms, which makes the time Viktor spends abroad around a term and a half, on average. He would have surely been fired if not for his connections with the headmaster.

As expected, his trips cause a lot of stress for the staff, particularly Mitsue. According to him, it’s actually more stressful when Viktor comes back. Since as the actual teacher in charge, there are things only he can authorize. However, Viktor has proven himself to be difficult to find and arrange a meeting. Often having to ask a fellow teacher, like Kyouya Narisawa, for help due to his knowledge of Viktor’s behavior. Mitsue only has a limited amount of time to push Viktor to his responsibilities before he leaves again.

In conclusion to his effective methods and connections, Viktor Adachi won’t be getting fired anytime soon. Nevertheless, it would be in everyone’s best interest if he would lessen his travels abroad and stay to teach his students. He may still travel, but not so much as to miss more than a term. This way, his students would be able to benefit from his teaching and the staff wouldn’t be on edge whenever he’s around.

As playful as Viktor is, there are times when he feels insecure. With his vampirism, age, and laziness, he tends to feel that he wouldn’t be able to provide you with everything you need in a proper relationship. You wouldn’t know this though, for he puts up too well of a cocky, flirtatious facade.

The most history he’d teach to a student is to you unintentionally. At times, maybe during after school or during lunch breaks, he’d tell you all about the places he’s gone to and the history behind them, even going into further detail about the culture there, the religion, and other various facts.

Despite Viktor’s lackadaisical attitude towards teaching, he is very intelligent in other fields aside from History. As much as he’d tease you about needing help from your “favorite teacher,” he’s as good of a tutor as Kyouya; probably even more so due to the calm atmosphere he creates. It’s crazy how patient he is when explaining things to you.

He will forcefully pull you out from your studies only if he notices a decline in your health due to the stress or lack of breaks. You point out how no, you aren’t taking advice from the King of Procrastination, but despite your protests, he carries you away from your notes bridal style before plopping you on the couch. You’re going to cuddle against him underneath a fluffy blanket watching cheesy romantic comedies for the rest of the evening whether you like it or not!
