It was a busy night at the Grill and the crowd was starting to get on Damon's nerves, so after a couple of drinks, he left the money he owed on the counter and headed for the exit. As he walked out, however, someone caught his eye. He walked over to their table, curious as to why they were there by themselves. "Lonesome, broody drinking is a very bad sign, you know that, right?"

Taxi Incidents - Mitchell + Caroline
Mitchell shift his weight from one leg to another, feeling the unexplainable anxiousness settle to the bottom of his stomach. Even though he knew what it was about, being this rookie about something as simple as arriving to a new country was enough to make Mitchell scold himself. Sure, this was the first time in years he’d left Bristol, let alone England, but it didn't excuse the longing he had to go back. To make matters worse, the plain-ride had been a nightmare, everything from the baby that kept screaming on the top of its lungs just a few rows away to a group of businessmen who couldn’t stop babbling on about the conference they were going to. So all things considered, it was no wonder Mitchell had ended up gritting his teeth for the whole flight, up to the point where his jaw muscles were hurting. Adjusting the duffel bag's strap on his shoulder, he stepped outside from the airport, looking at the people scurrying around with an apparent destination, very different from the situation Mitchell was in. An Irish vampire on the run for the first time in decades. He inhaled deep. Here we go. After observing the people around him — which seemed like a reasonable way to gather information about how cabs could be stopped — Mitchell lift his arm up and after a few seconds, one yellow-toned car stopped next to the pavement. Secretly happy of his simple accomplishment, he reached for the handle when someone cut in and disappeared right into the taxi without so much as a look of apology before the door was already closed again. Fueled by the nightmare of a flight he'd had before, Mitchell swung the door open and drilled his gaze to the blonde woman inside.
"What the fuck do you think you're doing?"
