After a moment, hazel eyes fluttered open — and a faint smile graced her lips at what she saw. Caroline. “Mm, this is unexpected,” she murmured, reaching out to trail her fingers along the curve of her back, before shifting, pulling her closer and tucking her chin over the other blonde’s shoulder. “Though not unpleasantly so.”

It was night, and Damon's car had decided to die in the middle of nowhere and he hadn't been in the mood to wait out in the cold for a tow truck that would have taken hours, so there he was, walking back home by himself. It was only after a few minutes that he realized that someone else was walking not far behind him. He didn't think much of it, until he realized they were taking all the same turns he did. After a few paces, he turned around, frowning. "Are you following me?"
