The little vampire Jumped to Jack's level and poked at his hat. "Hehe."

The pirate stepped back quickly.

"No touching the hat."

The young vampire ran away from the blazing flames in fear. "I don't like fire!"

The flames were eating away at the apartment building, devouring it and charring it until nothing was left. It had to have been the work of an Arsonist. Vincent stopped mid order as he caught a glimpse of the child too close to the scene. He moved after her, trying to tell her to stand near one of the engines. She didn’t need to be so close, but something threw him off. His eyes darted up as he heard the creaking. The building was giving way, all it’s support gone. 

He stepped into motion, the steel toe boots couldn’t slow him down. He grabbed her by the arm, quick yet gentle enough not to hurt her, as he pulled her away from the toppling building. 

“Are you alright?” He breathed. “What on earth are you doing out here?”

The young vampire took a moment to look around before she turned back to the entrance of the bathhouse. "I-Is this place real?"

While the vampire lady had looked around, Haku had taken quick steps, standing -with a distance- before her now. With an emotionless expression (which he mostly put on while working), he observed the new guest. Yubaba had ordered him to await the newly arriving guests at the bridge in front of the bathhouse- and so he stood there in a waiting manner. "It's as real as I am", he answered her question. "It seems you have never been to Yubaba’s bathhouse before." He wondered where she came from. The bathhouse was quite famous in the spirit realm.

I say nothing to be nice. Nor do I use sweet as a compliment the way others might. Sweetness is a sign of weakness. Be careful, child. There are many who would use that against you. Myself included.
