Me when the vampire themed media is immensely comforting to my queer self in difficult political times (hiding my true identity in secrecy, being seen as a monster, confined to a life of isolation, the crushing loneliness of being invisible -- but at the same time, valuing my self highly, romanticizing existence, indulging in luxury even in the bleakest places, dressing myself well because I deserve it and engaging only with the company that i prefer)
