you ever think about how for no reason 5e decided to completely for no reason full revert van Richten's entire character arc to hating the Vistani again after 2e made an emphasis that while he was horribly hurt in the past he understood just clinging onto hatred and bitterness was pointless and tried to make peace with it and even spend time with Vistani to better understand them despite the pain one Vistani family had caused him

and then 5e said "no he wants to commit genocide with tigers actually"
