Sun Drug - Wildman

For those of you that followed the brief career of the LA indie rockers VANAPRASTA and wondered where they went -- LOOK NO FURTHER.

A few members have reformed as the new band SUN DRUG, and their music is quite promising. Frontman Steven Wilkin’s raspy and haunting voice coupled with driving guitar riffs brings to mind artist such as KINGS OF LEON and THE BLACK CROWS.

Earlier last week the released their debut EP, and are looking to release more songs and tour in the near future. Keep an ear out for these guys!

I had the pleasure of seeing indie rock band Vanaprasta, from Silverlake, on Friday night.  They had a more electronic vibe live and I highly recommend checking them out.  This is their song "NYF" (Numb Your Feelings).
