Today I went out to Glendalough with a very dear friend Ian. Glendalough (gleann dá locha, or Glen of the two lakes) is a stunning place, currently being rewilded with broadleaf deciduous trees. Plenty of oaks and crows and running clear water. Waterfalls, ancient trees, moss, lichen, foxgloves. A place to recharge and rest, walk up the mountain and into the clouds.
