‘SNL’ Star Vanessa Bayer Can Do An Episode of 'Friends’ By Herself
Vanessa Bayer was on Jimmy Kimmel Live Monday and got to talking about her love of the show Friends. Bayer enjoyed it so much that she can basically do an entire episode by herself, proceeding to perform a small scene as Rachel, Monica, and Phoebe.

Former Rilo Kiley frontwoman and Indie Queen of Our Hearts, Jenny Lewis, just (finally!) released a music video for “She’s Not Me,” the second single from her latest album, The Voyager—and let’s just say, if you’re a fan of ‘80s movies, Saturday Night Live, The Golden Girls, [non-golden] Girls, great music, or just a bit of silliness, you’re gonna love the way it looks. I guarantee it.
Much like Lewis’ last video for “Just One of the Guys,” which featured Anne Hathaway, Kristen Stewart, and Brie Larson going full-on bro, “She’s Not Me” enlists some terrific guest stars of its own, including SNL’s Vanessa Bayer, SNL alum Fred Armisen, Girls’s Zosia Mamet, actor Leo Fitzpatrick, and musician Leslie Feist, all helping Lewis reenact scenes from her past as a child actress. (If you aren’t so well-versed in J.Lew trivia, she’s had roles in classics like Troop Beverly Hills, The Wizard, The Golden Girls, and Pleasantville.) It’s pretty much perfect.
In between spoofs, the festival friendly musician wears her now-signature airbrushed rainbow suit—though this one’s slightly different from the one she’s wearing on her album cover, and the other version she’s wearing in her last vid. The getup’s getting a little tired, to be honest, but per usual, Lewis looks cute as a button.

Vanessa Bayer’s Jennifer Aniston Impression Is Unreal
I’ve never heard anyone do an impression of Jennifer Aniston before, so I can’t really say that Saturday Night Live cast member Vanessa Bayer’s impersonation of her is the best there is… but I can’t confirm that it’s not the best, either.
It’s… pretty terrific.
Bayer, who stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live Monday to promote her upcoming comedy film Trainwreck (starring Amy Schumer), was thoughtful enough to give us a taste of her current current standup routine — which involves a gag on the long-running sitcom Friends.
Included in the bit is a spot-on impression of Rachel Green-era Jennifer Aniston (which, frankly, is pretty much the same as present-day Jennifer Aniston). If you thought Bayer’s ‘Miley Cyrus’ was “pretty cool,” this one’ll blow you away.

On the off chance that you get to sit down with Vanessa Bayer, you best be sure to ask the Saturday Night Live star for her best Miley Cyrus impersonation. And that’s exactly what Yahoo Style’s Joe Zee did in this episode of Style Session.
“If Miley were to try to pick up Rachel Green at a bar, how would that go?” Zee asks.
Bayer, who’s co-starring with fellow funny girl Amy Schumer in Trainwreck, gamely plays a couple of rounds of “Shag, Marry, Kill” with Zee—she’d basically marry Caitlyn Jenner today—after admitting that she’d switch teams for Kerry Washington. “At one point I was like, ‘I’m not dating anyone but I’d love for you to be in my bridal party one day,’” Bayer says, only half-kidding. “And she said yes!”
