Vanity, the craftsman who was a protege of Prince in the mid 80s, has kicked the bucket at 57 years old. Vanity, whose genuine name was Denise Matthews, had endured kidney disappointment and stomach sickness, as per TMZ.
Her passing was affirmed in a tweet from her companion Sheila E, Prince’s drummer in the 80s.
