Ha, yes, I owe more than one person an apology. @felicityremarkablesmoak used to laugh at me and say that by golly, the Lauricity tag on AO3 was going to get up to 100 fics, even if I had to fill it myself. Which is, coincidentally, where I found you. That textfic is pure genius and I’m not allowed to read it in public because I make odd faces while trying not to cackle gleefully whenever Sara texts baaaasically anything. Seriously, her asking how many states there are is one of the funniest things I’ve ever read. That joke is so beautifully set up. It felt very Thursday Nextish in the best way.

My favorite fic of yours is Letters Never Sent because it's really sweet, feels in-character and like a glimpse into what could have been. I also really really appreciate that you kept Felicity's wheelchair. I use a wheelchair and I don't get to see that very often so it means a lot to me.

Oh, man, I had no idea! I didn’t give Felicity the magic cure in that one because I was so furious at canon for even attempting that storyline if they weren’t going to commit to it. I can’t even imagine how exhausting that must have been for somebody even closer to that situation. I’m so sorry. 

But: it’s amusing to me to hear that fic called sweet because I wrote it from a place of such rage—look at these women! Look at how great it would be if they supported and cared for each other. Not even romantically, but in general!—and for that fic to wind up as soft as it ended up being is almost a little bit baffling.

(it also makes me understand Neil Gaiman’s quote about Terry Pratchett being a supremely angry man, come to think of it)

But seriously, thank you! It’s really kind of nice to know this is somebody’s favorite because while I was writing it, I had no idea if it would even appeal to anybody!
