Not only did we get Betty back from the shop yesterday, but we got a part in the mail to fix our awning! 👐🚑 Today ALSO marks exactly 5 months on the open road! 🎉🌟We left Portland on June 19th, but didn't leave the safety and comfort of friends and family until July 7th. Somewhere in Tennessee, while we were camping in an "off the beaten path" forest, we managed to rip off the awning foot bracket on a tree stump while trying to negotiate a narrow dirt road. 😂 The camp spot was worth it, but we've missed our awning. Levi sourced a part on ebay for $20, had it sent ahead to a post office, and we were able to fix the awning instead of shelling out $200 for a new leg. Woohoo!
