When many of the monsters were sealed underground there were a few stragglers left on the surface. Those that could not flee with the rest were cursed to be mindless mobs and hunted down. All but the most powerful were able to resist the curse, some tried to save their brethren, others attempted taking the fight to their enemies for one last glorious hoorah. However they too were eliminated one by one. When all seemed lost Vanrec Teaberry hid deep within Skull Cavern, waiting, watching, preparing for the day of his revenge. Many years went by and the legend of the Junimo Lord was lost to history, reduced to a whispered myth, and a scary children's story.

TELL ME ABOUT VANREC'S MAGIC

I have a very vague idea of what his magic is right now but this is what I've got so far.

Vanrec is imbued with the magic of the forest and with that they are able to encourage the earth's growth, increase its fertility, along with healing any land scars caused by unnatural destruction.

Being deeply connected to the forest Vanrec is also able to communicate with the surrounding wildlife as well as the normally unseen spirits, the Junimo, who revere him as nature's guardian.

Additionally, they are able to cast minor illusions to cause misdirection in the instance some lucky adventurer stumbles upon him, and shapeshift into various animals. His favorite form is that of a horned hare.

5'11" so kinda tall. Not including horn height.
