here’s my gift for the secret snowflake event for @seasons-in-the-archives! this is for the lovely Vessar, who asked for anything jon related which i was delighted to do!
i also took inspiration from a convo they had in the discord about an au where jon is a barista who can’t make tea but martin keeps coming back anyway because jon cute.... this is also set in the holidays after they’ve known each other a bit! i hope this matches what you want!

Page one: A dark-skinned hand, presumable belonging to Jon, sets down a cup on a table. In the next two panels, Martin looks down, then up, with question marks next to his head. The next panel shows the back of Martin’s head, looking at Jon, who with a neutral expression says “Drink it.” Jon has a small holly pin on his apron. The final panel is mostly dialogue, Martin saying: “Wha-”, Jon saying “Tell me what you think. Hurry up, I’m wasting break minutes for this.” Tim, an east Asian man with a grin cuts in, saying “No you’re not~” to which Jon responds “Shut up Tim.”
Page two: There are three panels in quick succession showing Martin hesitating over the tea, taking a sip, and being pleased by what he tastes. The background in these panels goes from light to dark, the first panel having a dark expression whereas the third has exclamation points over his pleased expression. A picture of Jon, smiling with his head tilted onto one hand and leaning on the table, cuts into the third frame. Martin says “What is it?” and Jon responds “Peppermint tea, we have it for the ‘holidays’.” Jon looks fond, looking presumably at Martin. In the next panel Martin looks considering, saying “It’s not bad, actually?” and is cut off by Jon in the next panel, who is standing at the table he and Martin were seated at, shouting “HAH!” while pointing at Martin before saying “I told you your advice was unnecess-”
Page three: Martin continues in the first panel, saying “It does feel like the sugar is choking me, though.” Martin is smiling, looking at Jon with one eyebrow quirked in the panel. In the next panel, Jon looks like the meme of Jamie Lee Curtis holding a finger up, looking contrite with his mouth shut and a finger held up as a speech bubble says “...” besides him. The next two panels show a simplified version of Jon and Martin at the coffee shop table, where Jon goes from sitting to standing, with “...” over both panels. In the final panel, Jon is saying “That’s just the holiday spirit,” as Martin laughs in response, “Hah!” The two of them are once again seated at the table, Jon with his chin rested on one hand and the other elbow on the table, and Martin with both arms on the table, one holding the teacup and the other holding his arm. They are both smiling and blushing, Jon looking fondly at Martin and Martin laughing with his eyes closed. End ID]
