Having a self contradicting identity is so exhausting sometimes
I am a man, I am not human, I am a gentleman, I am amoral, I am a person but I am also not a person at all.
I am a man (gender)
I am not a man (human)
Say the thing
Say it wrong
Say it as well as you can and understand it will be misrepresented from both sides and twisted to serve personal narratives
It's just the way of things but you need to say things anyways
Say your feelings with or without moral arguments
Say the hot take you think is common sense
Say the middle of the road layperson opinion because it's important too
Say it didn't personally effect you but it's still important. Say you don't have an opinion, say you find the discourse exhausting and it's not your job to be arbiter of every moral quandary that comes across your dash.
You don't need the approval of opinionated people, reading a call out post and thinking about writing in to ask this clearly judgemental stranger on the internet what they think of your specific nuanced situation is not good for you
I promise they don't care as much about the nuance as they do resolving their mental dissonance
On the internet it's easier to throw a whole person/account away and you're not going to get reassurance
Notice a lack of any conversation about what actionable steps a person can make to be better? That parts always not their job.
Some people announce they have no interest in learning or empathizing with "the enemy"
You can convince man anyone is their "enemy"
