god, the game feels like such a mad scramble of desperately trying to even the odds and gain ground against the emperor and a lot the times things just go wrong or they end up barely scraping a victory AND THAT’S SO TASTY TO ME. THE FACT THAT MINWU GAVE HIS LIFE FOR ULTIMA, AND IT WAS USELESS? I LOVE IT (also I am deeply sorry minwu, ilu 4eva and u r my fave) HILDA CALLING OUT GORDON BECAUSE IF HE’D BEEN AROUND THEN THE GANG WOULDN’T HAVE HAD TO FUCK AROUND WITH THE GODDESS BELL AND JOSEF WOULDN’T HAVE DIED?? YES

& the whole deal with the dragoons, like yes almost all of them are gone, but there’s hope! ricard can train his friend’s son. and then you see that spark of hope die with ricard and just like that, the dragoons are gone. And even when you die your job isn’t over, you’ve got to go kill the new evil god.
