I dont directly post about it a lot here, but just a reminder that we have a Patreon for Revenant. Updates can be slow sometimes, but there's neat stuff here if you wanna help fund the project, it's how everyone that helps me on it gets paid. There's model progress (both images and videos), WIPs of the game, concept art, etc.
Creating Revenant and Apron Strings
You can join for as low as $1 a month or get behind-the-scenes stuff starting at $10 - anything helps
If you want the project to come out sooner - or at all - this would certainly help. It only keeps plummeting and limiting the rate I can tackle things, so anything helps.
and if i said nolan's odyssey starring no greek actors and with no recognizable aspects of greek culture or involvement by greeks, is the direct legacy of white supremacist colonialism that treated ancient greece as not just the pinnacle of ancient culture, but of an artificially created "european" culture, which white western europeans and their settler descendants, as the new pinnacle of culture, were the sole spiritual inheritors of.
^^^ PEOPLE ARE STILL THERE. There's a metro station across the street from the colosseum where i found a hair in my pizza slice. We drove by ruins of an amphitheater next to a motorway in greece once. It's literally just real places where real people live and have lived. It's not mythical perfect lands that once existed. I went to Itacha in 2023 and there was not enough parking space.
Maybe one day we can stop moralizing the concept of privilege & everyone will get normaler about being told they have relative privilege over other people. Like literally everyone everywhere in some way. It's fine. Being aware of it can't hurt you
There's such an endless chorus of outraged "but what if I'm poor? What if I'm autistic" and it's like. Ok. You're not getting this at all let's just start over

injections are way easier than you think and not having resources that elaborated on that stopped me from getting on estrogen 2-3 years before i did
pills are so much more expensive and inconvenient to acquire, especially grey market...
you can just buy injection supplies on amazon and if you have a friend who understands crypto currency you're basically set for a year or two
Aromantic transmascs!! I'm so glad to be in a world with aromantic transmascs!!! If you're aromantic and transmasculine, you're literally the coolest person ever!!!
I think mostly what young fandom types (and I guess younger people in general) who are very very invested in the idea that “20 is still basically a minor” need to understand is that the feeling of “I’m just a child pretending to be an adult, and everyone else around me is a REAL adult” is DEEPLY universal (and won’t stop, ever, by the way, sorry!) and also is not, like, praxis.
Believe me, I get it, but the self-infantilization needs to stop, especially when you’re trying to engage in conversations about actual children and the harms they can face. Yes, it is scary to wake up and realize you’re 22 and you still feel like you’re 15, but it happens to all of us. You’re an adult. You have to deal with it.
