Nearly finalized designs for Polaris that I actually already feel pretty confident on. I recently decided I wanted him to be latino, so in this piece I experimented with finding his skin color on the color wheel. I’ve never really drawn a latino person so it was kinda hard at first. Anyway his clothes and overall design are meant to symbolize his transition from hero to villain as sort of a transition from day to night. One of my friends compared it to cutting your hair off after a breakup and I kinda like that analogy. December 15, 2022.
