These are some original works I did a year or two ago. My mother and I were on errands when we heard about this critically endangered porpoise off the coast of Mexico: the Vaquita. (Little cow in Spanish)
It was on the radio that we heard about this adorable critter, it even makes fart noises! Unfortunately, they don't do captivity well, so we can't keep them for study/help with the population and thanks to corruption in Mexico, they get tangled in illegal fishing.
Mom suggested that I write a story featuring it, but I don't have a whole lot of confidence in my writing skills (that's not fan/script format) so she said why not draw the story and she'll do the writing. I'm not quite keen on doing that whole thing yet, but I AM going into illustration at college, so hopefully I'll be more confident in this matter.
The last pic features two characters to go in said story based on unusual sea creatures: the sea pig and the sea hare slug. Don't have any real details but might as well put them out there.
