ASOIAF Essos Infographic: Braavos

"Braavos is comprised of a hundred islands linked together by small stone bridges spanning the many canals throughout the city. The houses in the humbler regions are tightly packed together, even over the canals.

By and large, Braavosi are a kind people, great lovers of song. Wealthy Braavosi dress in charcoal grey, purple, blues so dark that are almost black, and blacks as dark as moonlight. Sword-wielding bravos, in contrast, dress in flamboyant colors. Keyholders of the Iron Bank wear drab coats of brown and grey. The pair of fashion illustrations for Lorath.

One of the things I'm going to do is post the full-body pairs from each place. I might struggle to come up with things to say about each of them, but I'll try my best to say something new about my design choices. The majority of the figures are unrelated to each other, but they will most likely be placed close-ish together in order to fit on the dastardly 4:5.

These two are supposed to be the almost-every-day Lorathi citizen. Regular couple, regular day.

New Project: Essos Fashion

illustrations about fashion in Essos???? Who is this person??

Okay so we've all seen the amazing art by @chiarart - @ilreleonewiki and after completing the Norse Goddesses I wanted to do something with costume design and had a few people asking me about return trips to the ASOIAF world. I fell down a rabbit hole, read and re-read the ASOIAF Wiki and decided to dig deeper into a largely unexplored continent.

I'm going to sort of go around Essos starting from the Northwest. We'll go around the coast and then zig-zag-kinda across the continent. I haven't done every single place but it's a heck of a lot of them!

I hope you're excited, I had a lot of fun revisiting the world of ASOIAF after so much time away.
