anyone else think this could be maglor?? like, he seems a bit set apart from the rest of the council, which makes sense considering his history, but hes also very close to elrond, which not many of the other elves seem to be. of course, it could be elladan or elrohir, but i feel like it would be the two of them together. this also plays into that "lindir is maglor" theory ive seen, because lindir and elrond seemed to be close consultants based on what i remember from auj. just a thought!!

sometimes i wish there was a universe where none of my comfort characters are dead, and they all lived happily ever after but then i remember my comfort characters are maedhros and maglor and because this is the silmarillion fandom nothing but pain awaits

A heartfelt thank you to everyone in the lotr fandom that adds diversity to their content, and a slap across the face to everyone who says the characters have to be straight, white, cis, neurotypical etc because Tolkien was Christian and published the books in the 1940s. Stop telling people they can’t change characters bit so that they have someone they recognize themselves in. Thank you for coming to my TED talk
