Giroud Confirms Vardy!
After the French had their way with Scots in last nights friendly Giroud was asked in his post-match interview about Vardy. His reply left nothing to the imagination and said in no uncertain terms that he welcomes Vardy whilst adding he would like to work with Vardy and not have one of them sit on the bench each game. Link to the video below.... https://twitter.com/GoodOld_Arsenal/status/739373946269638656 In addition to that, multiple sources have explained that Vardy will undergo his medical later today in a bid to finalise the deal by tonight/tomorrow as Woy Wodgson does not want any of his players having medicals or dealing with transfers whilst at the Euro’s.
With everything pointing towards Vardy becoming our new #9 I, for one, am very excited at the prospect of him plying his trade for us. As explained in my prior post, every attribute of his is positive for us. Added to that of the reemergence of Wilshere and the signing of Xhaka we will have some serious fight in our team. Something I have personally missed since the glory days of 08-2004. With Vardy and Wilshere in one team, just think of the parties the lads could be having next season!!!
