ok so i was tagged a few days ago by one of my favorite writers @theherocomplex​

I don’t have a current WIP that’s more than two sentences right now, so I’m going with the one I finished most recently. 

The Child tilted her head to the side slightly. And began to laugh to herself. “My name is Varey. I am the manifestation of the ocean that bears my name. The ocean knows no mercy for those like you, and neither do I.”

There was a great crash of water, and the triangular head of a large creature rose from the harbor. Glowing white eyes stared at Lucas, a crown of horns and spines branching out from its head.
