honestly obsessed with the idea of a nonhuman f/o being excited to get their hands on you for the first time. them gently grasping your face and tilting it this way and that, to see the way the light plays across your features. marvelling at your hair, or lack thereof, trailing their digits over your scalp. remarking on how soft/squishy/tough/sturdy your body is compared to theirs, absolutely fascinated by the colour and texture of your skin. playing with your hands and fingers curiously. just them being so eager to familiarise themselves with your body (and hey, this could go for a human f/o with a nonhuman s/i too)

Hello friend I am here to ask 1, 13, and 15 for the f/o of your choosing ^-^

1. Talk about the first time you and your f/o met. How was it like?

awkward! we obviously met the first time i made it to the reef and i was so excited to meet some good bugs who didn't immediately try to stab me that i was WAY too eager and overly friendly and berated myself for it the entire flight back to earth. for his part variks didn't really notice bc he thinks all guardians are just weird as hell by default. he's technically not wrong.

13. Are either of you good at hiding you feelings, or are you very obvious about them?

im generally pretty good at hiding feelings due to my default position being "they are not interested in you, move on from this immediately" which kind of takes the pressure out of interactions. I will sometimes slip up though, maybe staring a bit too long or, more frequently, losing my train of thought or tripping over my words when he does that awful blocked-drain laugh of his that i love so much

variks is also very good at hiding his feelings, partially out of necessity and partially bc he is. oh my god so old. he's had plenty of practice. though he can't always stop himself from making happy little noises when im around, or muttering incriminating things in e.liksni when i surprise him by saying something affectionate like the big fat sap i am.

15. Does anyone else know about your feelings for your f/o? Did they find out on their own, or did you go to them? How about vice versa? Does anyone else know about your f/o’s feelings for you?

my ghost knows, obviously. he can read me like a book and has also y'know. been there for every excruciating stuttering moment. he Does Not understand it, makes very much fun of me, will play here comes the bride to tell me there's a fallen trying to flank me when we're in the field. can be as bastardly as he likes with impunity bc he knows i can't and won't do shit to him >:^(

as for variks, i don't think anyone knows. petra has suspicions that he's becoming close with someone, presumably a guardian, but nothing concrete.
