Hello Samuel!

I just wanted to tell you that I love how you wrote 'Roars of Wind and Flame'. I recently got back into 'The Lion guard' show and started writing my own fanfic with the hyena trio. I could feel the heat and pain they felt as they crawled through the bushes in the heat. And the frustration Janja felt was very clear and why he felt the way he did. The whole dynamic of the trio was captured very well.

That is all :D Good stuff. Will use as inspiration.

Hello!! I saw Timon tag me in the post, and was waiting for this ask/pos+excited!

So, my headcanons for the girls!:

I have always headcanoned Aanga (she/they) as a transfem demigirl who was already transitioned when she met and joined the Guard. I like to think that the only one who knew her before her transition was Beshte, since he was the one who suggested and introduced her to the Guard in the first place. Since Beshte is, well, Beshte, there is no way he would have outed her; and since she is so quiet and closed off I doubt she would tell any of them out of her own volition.

I think that the first member of the Guard to find out would be Ono, but this stems from my human AU, where Ono dresses super feminine. Aanga asked him if he was transfem too, and he was like "Oh, no, haheh, I just like to dress this way... WAIT YOUR TRANS????!!???!" and Aanga is just like. "Yep." I'm not sure how this situation would have come about when they're birds, but I still think Ono would be the first to "find out".

As for Kion (she/he, genderfluid I think), I don't think that he ever really had any thoughts about his gender until he started growing a mane. But even then he didn't even think about being trans, just that it felt wrong.

Then, as the Guard was on the journey to the Tree of Life, Kion mentions this feeling to Aanga, and tells her how he never really felt like a boy and wished he had been born a girl, and how he envies Kiara because of it. And Aanga just STARES. Because for one, she's Aanga, but also because right now might not be the greatest time to crack Kion's egg. Unfortunately, because Kion can't read her thoughts, Aanga's reaction makes Kion feel like he's STUPID for bringing it up.

Once they reach the Tree, Kion gets wicked jealous of Rani and Nirmala. He attributes this to the fact that the two of them are mentally stable and seem to have their lives sorted out, unlike him.

Then some time after the poison is gone, and Aanga and Kion are talking. Aanga mentions being transfem, trying to be casual. This is about the point that this-

-begins.

I think I've mentioned my Kion transfem headcanons before, in this post. (Ignore the fact that it's about a TMNT/TLG crossover, lol.)

And then I proceeded to NEVER MENTION IT AGAIN.

EVEN AFTER GALAXY ASKED ABOUT IT IN HER REBLOG 😭😭
