Some thoughts
Unpopular opinion: Vivenna's character is a little bit weak, not as a person but as a character. Her plot seems pointless and she comes across as boring.
Siri and Lightsong are my babies. Love them both!
This book is a mix of original fantasy (everything color related) and classic fantasy (a sword with conscience that speaks and kills).
It is clearly targetted to a more mature public. The word "sex" has been said in the first pages at least twice, while in the two mistborn books I've read there is no talk about it (and there's a married couple).
You know you've read a lot of books when Siri's hair reminds you of Rapunzel and Vasher's sword of the one Magnus Chase (by Rick Riordan) has.
