nihilism is a trend and i am nervous, by Shan Cawley
has your bed ever been made of water molecules so small that you can do nothing but be pulled into the confines of “your” space without an eviction notice? when we are wet, everything feels so smooth floating like nymphs gone rogue and humans grown water-soluble is the song you sing your own because i would utter it, too if it were of my own doing there is no copyright where there are no machines mailmen speed down cobblestone and my world turns as it always has i wonder why everything i have ever known has some sort of separate, secret context let the binary be known of the air we breathe and the breaths we exhale
