“Vash. Why is your leg bent like that?” Wolfwood asked, the words coming slow and careful like he was talking to a child. His tone made Vash’s eyes sting. He blinked harder, even though he wasn’t looking up at Wolfwood’s sun-haloed face anymore. “Like what? I’m totally fine,” He tried to laugh, but all attempts at levity were lost with the way his voice tore its way out of his throat. The gravely sound echoed in his ears, sounding even to himself like the laugh of someone teetering on the edge of madness. “Fuck.
