Vassangre was highly surprised to find himself in such a tricky situation: being held against his own will by three of his kin - crossroads demons of a much higher caliber than the poor disease demon himself. They had managed to lure him into an abandoned warehouse where they had attacked him and tired him up. Somehow the bastards had known Vas would never part with this vessel and leave it to be destroyed.

The trio - whose names Vassangre had whispered into the king's ears as soon as he had learnt what they had been up to - had stashed away a few souls for their own gain. And certainly, you can not expect hell to function if every crossroads demon were to take a few souls here and a couple over there for their own safekeeping. Everyone worked for the common goal - which currently was the king's goal.

Vassangre had no idea how they had found him - or how they had managed to get away from what Crowley supposedly had had in store for them. Everyone knew that those whose loyalty faltered would eventually have to answer to the king himself. And everyone knew such meetings to be highly unpleasant, even deadly.

Now Vassangre was left to pay the price for his loyalty. The three had not gone light on him: they had already made him drink at least a half pint of holy water, which now burned his insides. They had cut his vessel with iron and also - as if lacking the imagination to do anything else - hit him. Vas was already shivering and at the verge of begging them to stop when they prepared what they called a holy shower: a bucket filled with holy water that was to be poured on him. Wasn't the king supposed to protect him from such events? Where was he? What was keeping him from coming to the aid of his loyal servant?

Hello all~ 

If you've been tagged in this it means I owe you a reply. I plan to work on all my drafts tomorrow, whether in the morning or at night I am still unsure. I appreciate the patience and am aware how slow I am being. The drafts are being worked on, though, and I will have them out for all of y'all.
