Thank God It's Friday
Stile's pulled up to Lydia's house shortly after school, expecting that she would already be home. Unfortunately, he didn't see her car in the driveway, and he groaned, hesitating. Pulling out his phone, he shot her a quick text before parking and walking into her house anyway. They were best friends: it wasn't as though this was unusual. Walking through the front door, he felt his phone buzz, and he looked down, snorting when he saw her reply. Of course she had decided that she had to go shopping after school. He shook his head, letting her know that he was over, and he made his way to the kitchen to get something to eat while he waited for her to get back home.
Though Lydia wasn't home, it looked like her younger brother was. "Hey dude," he greeted, nodding in Jake's direction. "I thought I'd come hang out with your sister, but apparently Macy's was calling her name." Stiles settled on chips, grabbing a bag and a bottle of water before making his way to the kitchen table and sitting. "So what's up? How are you enjoying high school?" he asked.
