Maybe, just maybe, she's "way too strong" compared to the rest of the non-god characters because she obviously has experience with combat along with her husband. She FOUGHT in what's to be implied as many battles before the series even started. She's jaded and her entire family was killed, what do you expect of her?

When it came to characters being cannon fodder (referring to the old gods, humans, etc), it's because they were most likely civilians, inexperienced people, or gods who have not engaged in combat in a long time who joined the effort in killing Thor. And when you are a mortal in the face of ACTUAL GODS, of course they're going to overpower you. Do you expect them to put on a fair fight?

Yk when I die of old age (which is never, I'm immortal) I'm not gonna leave behind any money or property or anything like that,

instead I'll devote my life to making the most delicious, delectable, ass kicking, butt clenching, shrimp fried rice recipe known to man and keep the recipe a secret until I kick the bucket, my next of kin (who all have grown up on that recipe and since it's so good, other fried rice can't compare) so they will be at each other's throats for years to find THE shrimp fried rice recipe to inherit because grandpa died.

But AHA, were you paying attention? I didn't die. I'm immortal. I have the recipe with me the whole time. Now I'm watching the chaos unfold from Above.

The occasion I look back at my old characters I feel a little sad, for I was filled with great joy being able to bring them to life. Memories of the material they were from slowly fade away, their backstories I've spent months simply unused or forgotten; finished in my mind but yet laid out in pen.

Despite this, I lovingly place them upon a shelf. High and sturdy, so they are able to watch the new stories they have helped me learn to write.

I don't really get how it's funny to harm pest animals in an unnecessarily cruel way. There's an uncanny cruelty with how these people value the life of something as lesser because it is small.

And I get that getting rid of them is necessary, don't get me wrong if I have an infestation I'll call pest control or swat it away. Because that's what's necessary to exterminate them. I'm not gonna tear the limbs off of each cockroach one by one to cause them unnecessary pain.

They see them as barely; barely an animal, barely deserving enough to live because they "serve no purpose". But do we really need to have a purpose for everything to be deserving of existing? We just wanna live.

I'm at a point in life where I have war-like trigger symptoms former soldiers get but instead of anything serious it's at the mere words "Electrical Engineering"
