I don’t know if you’ll ever read this, but if you are, Hi!

I want to thank you for being so optimistic with me. Every time I tell you I’ve had a shit day or been in such a state that I can hardly talk, you just sigh and say, what can you do, or just another day, it’ll be better tomorrow. Even though at the time its annoying as all get out to hear, its what I need to be reminded of.

Thank you for showing me what a free spirit looks like, to see how carefree you are, how you just seem to know things will work out fine, even if things seem terribly dire at that point in time. It is nice to see someone whose sky hasn’t been touched by clouds. I love that about you very much, because it gives me hope that one day I can look at things like that, or I can just feel in the moment.

Thank you for taking me on an adventure, one I will never forget. For showing me there is more to life than my bedroom and for actually taking me there. For showing me that you don’t care about how I look, and for making me believe that you must actually like me because I must actually be an okay person. For teaching me handy skills and useless knowledge.

I don’t know if you’ll ever read this, but if you are, know that I love who you are and who you are going to become. Please forever be the incredible person you are, the carefree, light, bright soul that can lighten any room.
