          The palm of his hands was rather cold, and while he had no gloves, Tamaki took the opportunity to venture on. He didn’t want to wear his Hero Gear, but he currently had no choice. He was thankful he found it on his bed and decided to put it on to keep himself warm for the winter. When he slipped the hood over himself, he went to go wander, his dark blue hair and pale face slightly seen. It’s not like he tried to hide his identity, but his hood did help him feel like he was capable to avoid his very existence from people around him.

          He just wanted to take this opportunity to explore, and see what jobs were available. He did see a map, and was able to memorize what he could, but somehow along the way… he still ended up lost. Great. He had to escape the crowds, why was this place so full of life, despite how chilly it was? And yet at the same time, it was rather small in population, but to his eyes it was too much.

          Not knowing a clue of where he was, he knew now was the time to ask someone. He had to brave up and do it, but his mind was internally screaming at him not to. The moment he saw someone, he noticed they had a map in hand… they seemed to know where they were going… they were a little intimidating, too. Could he really do this?

              “ Y-your map… I, ah… ” a start, but he was really hesitant. He just hoped the other looked his way, there was no way he was touching him. He nervously held onto his hood with his hand to hide his face. “ I would like to see it… ”

❝ is there anything to find ? ❞  even-toned, the words are just loud enough to be heard clearly in their little corner of the tavern as he settles into the seat, his knees bumping into the legs of the table. his expression is impassive, a subtle quirk of one brow revealing his doubt: there may be things buried out there in the snow, but the worth of the struggle to reach it seems uncertain. he sighs, lips curling downward. he’s set adrift, and it shows. this is as much an exercise of absurdity for him as he’s implying Karna’s task is.

Lucci takes a drink, the warmth of it and the tavern a welcome friend after the chill of outside. bitter indecision roils in his throat ( he’s alone, surrounded by the strangest folk and without a compass to direct him, tasks offered shunned ), but his voice remains even. he may be lost here, but the depths of his fear and his anger are kept distant - far away from potential allies. this is the most he can do for now, so he’ll do it.

“Oh,” is all she says at first, quickly feeling herself flush and her brain start to sputter at the ethereally serene man’s silent offer. Her hands flutter about for a moment, stopping partway and pulling back before carefully taking it from his hand.

“Th-Thank you,” Rea murmurs, dropping her gaze to unwrap the still-warm cinnamon roll and take her first bite.

the wind is wicked, it wraps around her ankles with an icy touch - leaving a stinging sensation in it’s wake. She wonders why she conjured the idea to undertake this task, to travel so far, only to retrieve something so small. Perhaps it was the inkling that part of her might find something bigger, a clue, a lead, that would lead her to the origin of her potential departure.

Yet, the wintry conditions only left a blinding whiteness that scorched the eyes if one tried to look hard enough.

Siegfried remains stock-still as Karna sets out to wrap him up. The scarf is big and soft but warm enough that he feels the difference. Chest and back remain uncovered and open to the harsh weather of their surroundings but by now Siegfried has grown used to it. Still, he plans to wear the scarf gifted to him by Karna from now on. Once Karna is done, Siegfried lifts his hand up to touch the big scarf, smiling at the colours that are so obvious his. “Thank you.” Siegfried is touched, steps closer and in Karna’s personal space to kiss his forehead in thanks. “I will wear this every time I go out.” @vausavi
