Brainstorming ideas for easy apps and snacks for Thanksgiving week. 🦃 We’re always nibbling so finding the perfect bite to eat is a favorite pastime of mine (I watch Tasty videos on a regular basis - anyone else?!) My go to “hostess with the mostess” trick is plating a cheese, meat, nut, and fruit together! Then people can combine and stack to their preference (adult lunchables basically). Here’s an example of a wine made in Virginia but not necessarily grown here. I believe the fruit comes from Carneros. Nevertheless, it’s a very nice wine; as is Stone Tower’s estate Chardonnay which is grown here. Their Wild Boar label focuses on quality wines at affordable prices from fruit sourced from regions around the globe. This wine’s fresh fruit, bright personality, and kiss of oak, paired really well with tonight’s crab cake and vegetable polenta dinner.
