Tina: a dog probably? I'm just thinking of webkinz now but I think webkinz wasn't even in existence when they would've been really small so feel free to ignore that

okay, if the vb au played any instruments what would they be? bonus : what age did they start learning? - space :)

hmm i'd say that in vb au, furt do play the same instruments they play in canon (drums for finn, piano for kurt) and that they both started at a relatively young age (10 for finn, 6-7 for kurt). piano did eventually become less of a priority for kurt after middle school but he can still play decently.

for the others i guess it would be easy to just go with the instruments i gave them in orchestra au lol but i have some alternatives in mind. i actually really love the idea of santana playing guitar - more as a casual hobby, definitely not a priority in her life. i could see tina starting off with piano as a kid and then deciding to switch to sth like the harp in high school because it's a less commonly played instrument (gotta impress college admissions people!)

idk if i really see quinn, britt or sug learning an instrument unless they were forced to tbh. realistically neither brittany's or sugar's parents would force them to learn one so i'm gonna leave them out of this. i could see quinn's parents pushing her to learn one as a child so i'm thinking maybe piano? she played for a few years and then dropped it as soon as she took up volleyball in middle school

vb au britt has a youtube channel with a delightful variety of videos ranging from travel vlogs with sugar, to mukbangs with her teammates (usually sug and/or tina for the sweet sweet gossip), to volleyball reaction vids with santana (who was wrangled into participating) and sometimes quinn, to like,,, random astrophysics thoughts and videos of her playing with Lord Tubbington,,,

finn is a simple boy. he just flashes his lopsided smile and hopes for the best - not that he hugely cares about what he looks like in photos anyway

once in a while, if he's feeling particularly confident, he’ll try to pull off the heartthrob smoulder with finger guns (yknow. like that one shot in silly little long songs.) whether he does it successfully or not is fully up to debate but he tries

kurt’s go-to is a hand (or both) on his hip. nice open pose to show off his outfit :)

alternatively he does the 😜👌 wink. not subtle at all but it comes out a lot when finn or santana is the one holding the camera and they're just hanging out

santana is a thumbs-up girl but thumbs-up poses are hard to draw bc of the hands. tbh she could pull off any pose if she wanted to but she sticks to a thumbs-up. or an awkward lil wave when she’s being photographed at games or sth

they santana also most definitely mock kurt's each other’s poses

whenever they’re being photographed as a group they insist on including a dumb group pose, which usually depends on the event/their outfits (like halloween costumes n such) but. finn has 100% tried multiple poses that involve him carrying both santana and kurt in his arms. they don’t always work out bc he isn’t ridiculously strong but they’ve definitely formed human pyramids and then had to stop really quickly before anyone got injured

tbh though a solid half of their group selfies are just attempts at using a timer and then messing up right as the camera takes a photo

Raja and Shea Coulee from drag race. I'm sure there are other queens she'd love but I think those two would be in her top 3 and I can't think of anyone else bc I have all stars 7 on the brain. Bianca del Rio, maybe? And Bob the drag queen. Idk there are so many options and I only have one brain cell

Atsumu from haikyuu. I haven't seen much of him bc I never finished the manga but from what I know he's a lil bastard who cares deeply for his brother and is passionate about vb so I think she'd see a lot of herself in him and she hates it. Following that logic I think she'd also enjoy Oikawa for also being a shithead who loves vb lol. Alternatively I think she'd also have soft spots for Hinata and Yachi bc they're lil rays of sunshine

Rosa from b99. She's a useless lesbian what else is there to say. But also she likes seeing queer Latina rep yknow? Rosa's coming out storyline would hit hard

Kurt:

Shea Coulee and Raja would be in his top 3 or 5 drag race queens as well bc he is a sucker for the high fashion girlies. I'm inclined to also add Sasha Velour? Also I could picture him watching s5 and wanting to love jinkx but also sobbing every time he sees her on the runway bc he hates the outfits lmao

Derek Morgan from criminal minds. Would Kurt actually watch cm? Debatable. But he'd have a crush on Derek bc the man is ripped and is also just a wonderful person

Arthur from Merlin bbc? Idk if he'd actually watch the show regularly but I could see him and santana watching it and going "that's finn" every time Arthur has a himbo moment

Finn:

Finn doesn't like,,, actively watch drag race unless santana/kurt is around but he's bound to feel something for at least one queen in drag and I haven't figured out who it would be yet. I wanna say it would be a pageant queen but that might not necessarily be true. Possibly katya?

Nishinoya and Tanaka from haikyuu, probably. Just for the vibes.

For the record britt would also love nishinoya bc he has great energy and is easily one of the coolest karasuno members. And I think kageyama would be another one of her faves because they have very similar play styles. But I don't have the brain power to think of any other media rn hahah

im so sorry ive been leaving u hanging again i wanted to doodle the pronksters but apparently that is simply not an option these days lol </3 maybe eventually i will

pronksters in question are primarily finn, santana and sugar (potentially also britt)

finntana exclusively prank each other and have had many a disastrous prank war back in like... middle school... where it starts all harmless and escalates until one of them gets yelled at by either carole or maribel

kurt hates being pranked by either of them but once in a while one of them will recruit him as pronk assistant bc he does appreciate being included

sug enjoys pranking britt once in a while. super harmless stuff like switching all of the little lego people in her room to go with a different lego model

i do think eventually sugtana would team up to prank the other girls but it does take a while bc they do wanna be mindful about not crossing any boundaries yknow?
