I don’t want to hear about Hamilton anymore right now. Not unless we’re going to talk about how the theatre industry just fucking flatlined until at least spring, probably longer. How almost everyone I know (including me as a props master) is out of work. How Theatre can crush their team because they don’t value artists. How very few people outside of the arts seem to care... but that’s too depressing, isn’t it?

I was sleeping but fireworks woke me up so i guess i just as well stay awake for 20 min more to welcome the new year

reasons i want to cry:

bc of how shitty i was

bc its the anniversary of the death of my grandma

bc im touch starved

Grief slips back into consciousness at such unexpected times. My family has gone through several deaths this year and it’s made itself clear that I am not done with the grieving process. I don’t want to feel this way anymore but I gotta do it, shadow work and all. Hopefully tomorrow will ease the grief a little even if it’s making me anxious in the meantime
