1) would you rather spend a day on the beach or in the mountains?

2) would you rather be transported into the vampire chronicles universe, or have your favorite VC character come to our universe?

Both but depends of the season and which beach/mountain and who I'm with! Obviously beach would be when it's warm enough to go in the water, but I usually wouldn't be there the whole day. Mountains are fun if I'm with a group of friends because I tend to get bored easily.

Transported over, it's basically the same world only with extra fun locations like Night Island lol

Doesn’t have to be because they are your favorite character overall, but just like maybe that doing a certain part of their design fills you with ✨✨✨

Well, it’s not a surprise if I say that Armand is my favorite to draw ;) He was the first character I drew when I started reading The Vampire Chronicles!

I have never considered myself an artist who had a lot of energy, interest and imagination to make fanart, but the moment I read TVL and read Armand's description (Thanks Lestat) I had a terrible impulse to draw him just as I pictured him. Literally doing that drawing of Armand was the beginning of my obsession with VC and since then I use him a lot to get past artblocks. He’s so much fun to draw!

But I love drawing any VC character really, I find it challenging to design and draw characters based on descriptions and my own imagination. I try to make each one have different facial features and stand out from each other. And that’s why that apart from Armand, Louis and Lestat are also one of my favorites to draw!

FOR EXAMPLE :D These are my notes and I hope it shows on my art :

- I try to draw Armand with softer, more childlike features. With a round face, kinda thin eyebrows, big dead eyes and tiny but plumped lips.

- Louis with more marked features. Strong jaw, thick and straight eyebrows, slightly slanted eyes and filled lips (obvious influence of brad pitt)

- And Lestat then needs to be the more expressive one. Rectangular face shape, thin expressive eyebrows, deep set eyes and thinner lips. (and dressing him feels like dressing a freaking Barbie and I love him for that)

Still even though I love to draw them, I'm always left a little unsatisfied, somehow I keep striving to make them look even more beautiful. That forces me to improve. Making fanart impulses me to improve! That’s why I don’t plan to stop doing it soon 🖤

and to finally finish, I’ll leave my improvement!

Hi hello hey yes so uh am a new vulture, hope I'm not bugging you with my question but how do you decompose an animal body when it's cold? (It won't do it itself because it's cold here outside and I'm not allowed to bring it inside lol) help-

Sorry if this is a late response, Tumblr doesn’t like to give me notifications at all. I think the only ways to get stuff done in cold weather is indoor maceration (smaller things) or using a bucket and an aquarium heater.

If you have a garage that’s well insulated you might be able to macerate it with or without the heater, depending on how cold it gets in there or unless that still technically counts as “inside.” If that’s not possible then the bucket and heater would be the only way to start processing the body. Cold slows down decomposition so burying it won’t do anything except more than likely keep freezing it. It sucks but the cold weather stops you from being able to process things and if you aren’t able to do it with a bucket and heater then you’ll just have to wait until the weather warms up.

How do you collect roadkill without wimping out? I tried to get an opossum but I couldn't do it. I was too nervous a car would hit me or the thing would slide out of my grip, so I just left it.

-pats- You should never feel ashamed for leaving something dead where it is if you dent feel safe getting it, after all, you don’t want to wind up just like it.

I tend to stick to things I find near the side of the road - rather than the middle, but in the off chance I find something worth the risk I keep a close eye on traffic, waiting for a large gap further up the road. You never want to run into the road and you never want to blindly run back across it, just wait for the breaks - sometimes people will even stop to let you back across safely.

It is best to go in the early hours of the day, when traffic is the least frantic (five to nine AM. Though, 7-8 AM can be tricky depending on if its a weekend and if school is currently in session)…It helps to have a general idea of your areas traffic times, and always wear bright colors if you go out and it is still dark

I have only two things slip out of my hand - an armadillo (when holding it by the smooth tail) and a really far gone cat I shouldn’t have bothered to pick up anyway…..It smelled really bad, it looked bad…it was bad, it was practically a liquid kind of bad. As long as you get a firm grip on either the tail or leg you shouldn’t have a problem with things slipping out of your grip =3

But I imagine Marius as a painter, Lestat as some kind of influencer, Armand as a model, Daniel clearly a journalist, Louis an odd poetry author…

In fact even together they could star in a reality show with all the drama they carry

🗺️ a location or time period you would have loved to see the main characters in that wasn't featured in canon?

Location: I think it's more of a I would have loved for anne to properly expand on the locations she briefly mentioned. I would have loooved for her to really have described what Daniel and/or Armand were doing when they were travelling trough Europe! Or as an european who was very shocked at some American TM stuff I would have loved Armand's reactions - or even more, Marius's!

Also what Armand and Daniel did in Japan in the 80s.

Time period: Marius from the early 1900s to the 80s. I need to know everything. Did he ever go to early years Hollywood? What did he do? I need to know!

🗿 give us the rundown on how you got here! which was the first vc book you ever read? what made you decide to seek out vc fandom on tumblr?

Oh lord haha

I started with Interview at the tender age of 12/13 and read them all in order (apart from Atlantis which idk if I'll ever read lol)

I've been on and off vcblr since errrmm 2014, I think it just occured to me at some point to look the fandom up since I was already on Tumblr but into other stuff at that point.
