i like how the australian government has to keep putting out disclaimers that your ATAR doesn’t determine your worth as a person, before they’re released on the 11th. because they’re aware of how many people go into a crisis over their results and or kill themselves. like yeah let’s not provide active support for students in year 12 but we WILL tell them for years that everything hinges on their atar and then attempt shitty damage control and do nothing about the youth mental health crisis. good stuff

finishing my last exam ever at the same time the finale of Vampires SMP airs is a weird feeling. Like here's all these people that have shaped and influenced me all through my childhood into adulthood. They've helped me go through the worst and best parts of my life and always manage to make me laugh, they've managed to motivate me to still keep creating and writing and drawing even when things go to shit because its what matters in the end.

So in a couple hours I'm going to take my last ever exam, and then go home, and then watch the finale while applying to jobs and taking care of my dogs and all the other mundane yet sweet things I get to do with my newfound freedom. I'm going to laugh, I'm going to scream and I'm probably going to cry, but it'll all be amazing. And I'm going to keep watching these people when whatever else happens to me.

So just to everyone who I watch now on the regular - Pearl, Cleo, Shelby, Scott, and everyone else on different servers and SMPs - thank you for making my childhood just a bit more brighter.

okay so my plan for year 12 vce is to do so insanely well on all my exams that it increases the average score of the subject therefore making it scale up
