during the time that they were apart, cho missed out on even the simplest forms of affection – the ones where he was just able to hold tao in his arms in any sort of way, to smell the conditioner in his hair and the lingering scent of his body wash on his skin. and now that he had come back home, up and making breakfast as he always has done, the dancer couldn’t hold himself back. he craved that innocent intimacy that he had felt deprived of for too long – even if it hadn’t exactly been that long at all.
“good morning, my love,” he spoke in the same old groggy voice he always did when he first woke up, and his face was still puffy as he had just gotten up merely moments earlier. facing tao’s back, his hands found the male’s hips and he gently pulled him back into him, though not in a terribly needy way. the only thing he was needy for was tao’s presence and to feel his body close to his again – he missed mornings like these. slowly, his lips touched the back of his neck and he smiled faintly against the warm glow of his skin. “god, i’ve missed this..”
taken tao would sometimes cook breakfast in the morning, cooking everything he knew cho loved, he figured he should cook something the first morning together with cho. pancakes, coffee and cinnamon rolls were on the menu for breakfast. he had been working on the pancakes when he hears the lazy padding of cho’s heavy feet headed his way. he only grins to himself, not saying a word because he already knows cho is going to greet him. the hands at his hips cause him to grin just a bit wider, continuing to work at the pancakes. it’s not until he feels the gentle pull that he lets out a soft laugh, using his left hand to find cho’s, wrapping his hand around his gently. ❝good morning, handsome. you know i really do love it when you call me your love. it has a nice sound to it.❞ his voice is soft but content, as he was still quite tired as well. he hums slightly at the kisses upon his neck, goosebumps finding their way to his skin, his eyes even shutting for a moment.
