she’s  relieved  to  be  back  in  the  city  ,  her  favorite  city .  especially  after  the  insane  drama  that  happened   in  italy  ,  that  sure  has  hell  was  a  trip  for  the  books  .  valentine  was  one  of  the  people  she  wished  she  might’ve  been  able  to  spend   more  time  with  ,  especially  after  what  he  confessed  to  her  a  few  weeks  ago .  they  had  never  really  addressed  it  , and  after  what  happened  in  italy  ,  she  really  wanted  to  clear  things  up   .  the  blonde  brings  up  her  fist  to  the  door  ,  knocking  lightly  ,  looking  around  as  she  awaited  an  answer .

          she has her hands full as she walks through the lobby where her clothing line’s studio is located, carrying various bags on her arms and boxes in her hands. while she would usually have an ASSISTANT to do all this tedious work, she sometimes found this to be therapeutic after a long day of meetings. the blonde embarrassingly trips over her burberry sneakers just as she crosses the threshold, and soon finds herself colliding with a passing pedestrian. ‘ oh shit, i’m so sorry. ’ she says while handing off the items to her driver. ‘ i didn’t mean to, uh -- i wasn’t paying attention. ’ she straightens her posture as she notices who she ran into. ‘ hey, val. ’ @vclcntines​

he’s  not  entirely  sure  how  he’d  managed  to  get  himself  into  this  situation  ,  but  here  he  was  ,  sprawled  out  on  the  couch  of  val’s  place  ,  iphone  in  his  hand  as  he  only  half - watched  val  try  and  decide  on  a  pair  of  pants  for  some  event  .  he’d  already  forgotten  what  red  carpet  the  other  was  set  to  walk  ,  given  that  it  wasn’t  necessarily  important  to  him  ,  but  he  still  shook  his  head  ‘no’  in  disapproval  as  val  re-entered  the  room  .  “ those  make  your  ass  look  non - existent  ,  and  i  know  you  have  one  . ”  he  gave  the  other  a  look  ,  “  why  don’t  you  just  hire  a  stylist  ? ”

the whole lennon scandal had opened a new can of worms in the media that she never expected or wanted. with her and eden both being followed so closely already, and lennon being as successful as he was with his music, it just spun out of control. alanna didn’t care so much about her image, it was more her parents who did. she was raised to be perfect, cry behind closed doors, not let anyone see you weak. it was a hard thing to do, especially with cameras now. she wasn’t used to that, they’d always kind of had their privacy. but she couldn’t deny that it was a good career move for all of them, so she would never do something as bold as to complain. alanna had thrown herself into work, to try and avoid more advice from her parents on how to fix this. her legs are crossed as she’s sitting in the  smoking area of the film lot in tribeca doing just that, cigarette hanging from her freshly painted nails . the blonde looks up when she spots a familiar figure approaching and she forces a small smile upon her lips. “hey.”

it was all over the news, snapchat, pretty much everywhere mari looked online it was the story of val and nova streaking in ibiza, it made her laugh. especially when she’s running into valentine at vera’s, she offers him a quick hug. “how are you? totally saw your ass online!” the brunette chuckles as she’s dropping her purse on the chair in her best friend’s shared kitchen.
